Some of the best video podcasts with real information on war, economics, the truth about the US and European kleptocracies, their owned politicians and their media
Real knowledge comes from bypassing the algorithms that feed you the lies circulated by the powerful. The podcasts below bypass that mess, and make it plain that the greatest power of the United States is not its military, but the enormous capacity of the thieves at the top of the food chain to make Americans believe their lies. The endless wars for profit are possible because the thieves who own our politicians and media have found ways to disguise the enormous costs of war and where the money goes. Innocent people and honest soldiers die by the tens of thousands, but a corrupt Congress doesn’t take the votes required to approve taxation to pay for war. Instead, the money to pay for war is borrowed from other countries, and then the taxpayer is on the hook to pay it back, plus interest. “Winning” wars is not the goal. The goal is to destabilize any country that seeks to escape the dominance of the kleptocrats pulling the strings, and to keep conflicts raging on, generating huge contracts for war services, weaponry, and creative financing fees. The taxpayer pays through the decades for the ultra-wealthy to murder people and destroy their countries, which creates floods of immigrants seeking more stable places, running for their lives and livelihoods. And then the thieves use their war profits to buy more media, and sell their citizens on the idea that their real enemy is immigrants, other countries, and their fellow struggling countrymen, not the tiny percentage of the ultra-wealthy who cause it all. It is grotesque beyond measure.

Yanis Varoufakis, DiEM25. DiEM25 doesn’t post a lot of content, but you can find a number of excellent interviews with Yanis Varoufakis on YouTube. One-time Greek finance minister and one of the few who clearly explain how capitalism as it is practiced in the west destroys everything except the few it enriches.
Featured on DiEM25: Like the American people, the Greek people didn’t want their government to bail out the banks whose reckless speculation wrecked the global economy. But the ultra-wealthy control government in Europe as well as the US. The banks and other huge corporations used their governments to shift the losses to the people, and created new opportunities to steal even more of the national wealth.
Judge Napolitano, Judging Freedom. The judge has reinvented himself after a long and dubious history with Murdoch’s FOX News and other right-wing propaganda entities, but these days he does speak out against America’s war and genocide for profit. The strength of this podcast is straight-talking guests like John Mearsheimer, and those who travel the world and report what life and world affairs look like from afar, such as Jeffrey Sachs, Pedro Escobar and Scott Ritter.

Richard Wolff, Democracy at Work. Along with new videos about current events, Prof. Wolff has a library of videos explaining what the systems of capitalism, Marxism, communism, and socialism actually are (as opposed to what we’ve been brainwashed by ultra-wealthy capitalists to think they are), so we can judge for ourselves which features of which systems might be used to build something better than Western-style capitalism.
